Time for a phone call!
This photograph of Irem and Amazon may seem like a sign of the times? Truly we live in the age of stress where electronic devices intrude upon us at every inconvenient moment.
Of course in Irem’s case the stress is self-induced. She could if she wished simply ask the caller to phone later. I am sure Amazon would have preferred it thus?
But then after a life under pressure it’s difficult to live without pressures, and I suspect that Irem sometimes creates her own stress simply because it’s familiar. I am sure that I do.
