It’s a fabulous day in Turunç. All the strangely tattooed tourists have dispersed in preparation to prepare for Christmas, and the town has reverted to being a quiet Turkish village.
It’s strange to see the boats that plied every hour, on the hour between Turunç and Marmaris all summer now laid up for the winter in the Town’s streets.
The market that just last week was selling ‘designer labelled’ apparel today sells fruit, vegetables, and hardware including word burning stoves in anticipation of cooler weather next month.
Phillip caught the last International flight this year from Dalaman Airport. It was sad to see him go.
But the sun still shines on perhaps the best day yet this year?
