Today the Olympus E-400 should arrive in Marmaris after its enforced ‘holiday’ in Portugal. I used the camera for just three weeks before it failed and it has taken nearly six weeks to go through Turkish and Portuguese customs, and also be repaired. It’s now travelling here by UPS.

Amazingly had Irem not checked by telephone it would have been left at the Mugla UPS depot, rather than go on to Marmaris. All Marmaris postal addresses are in Muğla Province, but if you write that on a UPS package apparently you stand a good chance that your packet will get delayed in the city of Muğla.

It will be nice to have the camera back, and resume experimenting with taking photographs like the one above.
