Guy Bourdin and Amos Beach Club

Guy Bourdin: Pizza, (note the masterful
sloping horizon in this top photographer’s shot).
I found this image by Guy Bourdin on one of his fan sites. Here are two powerful-looking women eating Pizza in front of a tropical seascape. Could we do something like this for The Amos Beach Club, I wonder?
There’s nothing overtly rude, or lewd about this image, yet somehow it’s more interesting than the plain image of 4 yachts at anchor, which I shot yesterday.
Will Mehmet go for it?
I doubt it, and anyway tonight I’m off to Istanbul to watch Top Gear on granny’s flat-screen T.V., and perhaps indulge in some E900 street-photography.

M. Bourdin and Mr. Bray’s collaboration is
entitled ‘Pide*’, (note the corrected horizon and
increased colour saturation).
Kindly note: Once again Guy Bordin’s picture has been retrieved from a publicly accessible source, and is used here in good faith as ‘Fair Use’. Images on the Internet may be subject to copyright.
The Guy Bourdin Retrospective Exhibition is currently in its second year details of its location may be found here.
Also: *Pide is, as yesterday, Turkish flat-bread, usually topped with meat, vegetables, or cheese.

[...] Some of you may remember how Amazon, Irem and I ran away from the prospect of creating a new brochure for Amos Restaurant. The reason is that the owners of large enterprise know just how much work needs to go into projecting the right image, whereas small business owners tend to think that taking pictures is simply a matter of pressing the button on an automatic camera. Mehmet is no exception! [...]
