Internet: Why Two Domains May Be Better Than One
Plain Sailing At The Family Business School, Despite Suffering With The Flu!
Despite suffering with flu, and also buried in the chaos following the redecoration of the house, and replanting of the garden, I’ve slowly been working on The Family Business School web site.
The desktop computer is out of action, but the laptops are networked. It’s quite nice to be sitting in front of the soba, suffering a slight fever, but still messin’ with my minuscule laptop.
Today I purchased familybusinessschool.com and have parked it at thefamilybusinessschool.com. I really should have done this two years ago, and indeed it would, probably, have been better had I made familybusinessschool.com the main domain, and thefamilybusinessschool.com the add on?
People looking for a ‘family business school’ on Google, or Yahoo, would then probably have found it further up the listings than where it to be found by searching at present.
My main reason, however, was to prevent others from using the name, which might cause confusion.
Tomorrow, if I’m up-to-it I will reveal what I’m learning about Internet Marketing from Betta Fish.
