Irem, computers and the Internet!

The Cyber Chef
For over ten years I’ve been taking photographs of Irem peering into the screen of one of my computers. In the old days in London she was studying for her MSc. I was keen to impress her so when my computer crashed I quickly bought an upgrade, which broke the bank but made me very popular with her.
Then she was cast out beyond the world of studentship and began to research on the Internet all manner of things to enhance her career as a psychologist. Eventually she wore out a further computer, [not really Joe Sinclair accidently sent us a virus which deleted our Bios Chip], and so once again I was forced into the selfless purchase of a Pentium upgrade!
Then we came to Turkey and during her years of International correspondence in the world of Family Therapy and Therapists she blew up the motherboard. Once again I cast deep into my pocket and obtained a new one.
Today she has started to research again, the subject ~ bread making!
Now my computer needs an XP upgrade because Microsoft claim the version I’m using may be counterfeit. All I can say is that when the machine went into a reputable Turkish dealer with a legitimate copy of Windows 98 installed upon it, it came back with a Windows XP upgrade! There must be a moral in here somewhere?
