Eminönü
It’s a sad fact that this incredible image of Eminönü would not be possible were it not for the polluted air that Istanbul residents breath daily.
The gunge created a kind of smog when I recently made my trip to Sirkirci. The sunset photographed on my way back home from a vapur impressed many fellow passengers too.
Even dirt can look beautiful
But this picture taken without the back-lighting reveals just how smoggy the day really was.
