Phillips Puts Nose Over Parapet

Laurie Phillips

Former International Communications Trainer Laurie Phillips today made the surprise announcement that he’s coming out of retirement, and intends to start a new business.

In a bulletin released to a select mailing list Phillips (63), who had been taking it easy for the past few years following a heart attack, said his decision was inspired by self-development ‘guru’ Tony Robbins. It has been well received by his friends in Amos.

Phillips also states:

a. I have become a vegetarian – I can’t see me eating meat ever again.
b. I may well become teetotal – not entirely 100% on that yet!! but will try it for a while.
c. I am coming out of retirement and plan to start a new business.
d. I am committed to giving up complaining!! and will attempt to say ‘Yes’ to everything for a year. Outrageous requests from friends based on knowing this, are not going to count!
e. I am starting a new morning fun dance and fitness class in Mudeford.

He has not stated what his new business venture is to be?
