Photography: BibblePro® RAW Editor Version 4.9

Processed entirely in BibblePro 4.93 ~ by Stephen Bray

Yesterday I stated that with some tinkering I could probably obtain an image of equivalent quality to that achieved by Lightroom®, or Lightzone®e using Bibble Pro® 4.9. It really didn’t take very long to manage this, which just goes to show that what really matters in RAW processing is to purchase a professional product and then practice thoroughly to master it.

Importantly, except for being resized for web display this image hasn’t been near Photoshop®. All the editing has been achieved within Bibble Pro®.

Bibble Pro® is the editor that I am most familiar with. I has some attractive plug-ins for those of us who began processing images chemically, rather than digitally. The basic package comes with fewer pre-sets than Lightzone®, and in turn Bibble Pro® and Lightzone® are less intuitive than Lightroom®.

It’s still early days in my 30 day trial of Lightroom® and Lightzone®, but I may eventually stick with Bibble Pro®.
