Photography: Olympus E-400 And The Japanese Rose Bud

Japanese Rosebud, Photographed In A Turkish Garden by BRAY

Bright, Punchy Colour!

This image, captured by my workhorse, the humble Olympus E-400 which may be purchased as a two lens kit in Dixons for little more than pennies, was made in the early morning light a day, or so back.

The Kodak sensor in the E-400 comes as close to the quality of film as I have experienced using a number of digital cameras of different manufacture.

I used my 50mm Digital Zuiko lens, and steadied the camera with the Manfrotto® monopod that I purchased months ago for night shots of Istanbul, but never used there.

There are many more similar images taken hereabouts in my on-line gallery.
