Photography: The Trials Of Trees And Sky

If you haven’t been over to Dave Beckerman’s place recently go there now. He’s made a superb IR image of clouds on this page, and then gone on to produce another one here.

But that’s not I meant to write about!

At last I’ve been able to return to working on my exhibition. Michael has been incredibly busy with other projects, and I’ve been submerged in building an online presence for Irem. But now needs must, and all focus needs to be on the exhibition. There’s so much to do starting with a name.

Originally we were going to call it ‘Trees and Skies’, then it changed to ‘Tree and Sky’. In Italy Mike and I reverted to ‘Trees and Skies’, but just after I had bought that domain name Mike began calling it ‘Trees and Sky’, which made more sense, so that’s what I’m going with.

You can read an initial post on the ‘Trees and Sky’ Project’  website here. Today I’ve been working on the exhibition poster, and invitation card. The post cards are confirmed, and we’re hoping to have enough to give every visitor to Netsel Gallery a complete set of five cards as our way of saying ‘thank you’ for taking the trouble to visit us.

Here is the proof of the poster.
