Granny Is At Once Put To Work!
Granny arrived on a bus from Istanbul today and after a twelve hour overnight trip we naturally put her straight to work!
Her job is to blow up the balloon before Amazon lets it go free landing in random locations. Granny then must fetch it from the inaccessible ones, but Amazon is gracious enough to fetch the balloon from the easy to reach places.
Granny has also be reading ‘Room on the Broom’, Amazon’s favourite story, which is in English. Granny still doesn’t know what it’s about because she speaks only Turkish and Amazon isn’t old enough to translate it to her.
In the picture above Granny is helping Amazon to eat her fish. Granny is being a really useful person. Tomorrow when she’s rested perhaps I’ll get her to help strip paint from the old garden furniture?
