Turunc: Seeing Things In a Different Light

Suddenly The Light Changed

Winter is upon us at last, or at least it tries to be some of the time. Truth be told I much prefer the winters here to those in England, although our attempts at Christmas spirit lack the Anglican traditional choral carols. No matter, at least Father Christmas is to be found everywhere, which I gather isn’t always true in the politically correct UK?

I was pretty tired when I caught this image from my table in Turunç’s Yelken Restaurant. Paradise Pide seems to have closed for the winter, so the Yelken is one of few places open for midday meals and very good value they are too :-)

I had been up all night in a webinar with Alex Jeffreys who is teaching me how to become an Internet marketer. You can follow my adventures in IM over at the other place, which will leave this one clear to write about more homely activities.

Anyway, what I’m getting round to say is that although I was tired, or perhaps because of it, this image appeared to me to be in vivid technicolor, but when I looked at the .jpg from the E-3 it seemed a little flat in comparison from how I had witnessed it. That’s why I’ve livened up the colours, somewhat, using a Velvia filter in Adobe Photoshop.
