What’s A Tenner Worth Today?

The Adventurous Ten Pound Note
In Turkey this ten pound note is worth about thirty new lira. But that’s not what’s remarkable about it, for the note, to my knowledge has never left the shores of Great Britain. It was however meticulously tracked for a week by Steven Bogan a journalist of The, [former Manchester], Guardian.
Mark Twain once wrote a story about a million pound bank note, which although unspent, created sufficient credit for its owner as to make him wealthy at the end of a month. Alas ten pounds isn’t credit worthy but the ten pound note in question passed through many hands and many adventures during the time it was under Bogan’s scrutiny.
